TRAP, NEUTER, RETURN.

Welcome to Stray Cat Network. We are a volunteer run, non-profit cat rescue in the Hudson Valley area of NY. Our mission is to rescue & rehabilitate the stray, feral, & abandoned cat population in Dutchess County & the surrounding areas. We focus particularly on TNR of feral cat colonies, & rescuing orphaned & at risk cats & kittens. All of our adoptable animals will be fully vetted including core vaccinations & spay/neuter before adoption.

MEET THE TEAM BEHIND SCN

CAMRYN LAUFFER, PRESIDENT

I officially founded Stray Cat Network in October of 2020, after being involved in rescue for almost 3 years. I began fostering when I was a teenager, on July 14th 2018- a day that changed my life. I have always been passionate about helping animals, especially cats. I have spent the last several years saving and spaying as many cats as I could. Our mission is simple; to help those who cannot help themselves. To end the suffering of as many cats as possible, to be their voice and tell the world their stories, to advocate in the name of the ones we could not save. To teach the public about the importance of spay/neuter and the humane treatment of animals. Since March of 2020, we have rescued and TNR’d over 200 cats and kittens. We could not do all the work we do without our amazing supporters and donors. We run completely on donations and volunteer work.

JESSICA DISBROW, VICE PRESIDENT

I have been working in rescue for 6 years and with SCN for 1 year, fostering neonatal or orphaned kittens. I am also a stay at home mom who strives to teach our future generation the importance of spaying and neutering and helping those who can’t help themselves. I specialize with fostering special needs and medical cases. I am so grateful to finally be working with a group that is so thorough and knowledgeable on how to rescue and foster in the best interest of the cats and kittens that they take in.
